Jill Mudge

Photography and art have always been a lifelong passion for me. I studied Photography at Minneapolis College of Art and Design where I received my B.F.A. After college I worked in NYC for an advertising photographer and then moved to the SF Bay area and pursued a career in advertising. With a strong desire to learn more about color theory, printing and emerging technologies I attended Rochester Institute of Technology where I received my Masters in Printing Technology degree. After receiving my M.S. from RIT I moved to New England with my husband and worked for various vendors in the digital printing and imaging industry. My primary focus was customer support and end-user education. Through this work I developed a love for teaching and lifelong learning.

In 1998 I left industry to pursue teaching, technology support and raising our family. I taught graphic arts, photography, desktop publishing and computer technology in NH till 2017. I started a small business in New Hampshire called NHDigital Works in 2010 where the primary focus was teaching photography to children in elementary through high school and non-profits, such as Girls, Inc.

I have received numerous awards for my photography and have actively shown my work though solo and group shows in New Hampshire, California, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

I currently reside near my hometown of Princeton, NJ where I am active in fine art photography and with my local photography club. I am also available for individual instruction, small group workshops, editorial photography, Pet Portraits, Equine Photography and Pony Parties.
